Real Estate Title Processor

About Our Client:
A growing Title Company in Ft. Lauderdale, FL is seeking an experienced Title Processor. This is a full-time direct hire opportunity for a top performer reporting to the President of the company.

Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for processing and clearing title exceptions for real estate closings in Florida.

Objectives of this Role

• Opening new files in Qualia software
• Reviewing the contracts and advising all parties of critical dates
• Ordering a title product from underwriter through Qualia
• Conducting thorough Title search to find hidden title defects, and performing curative work
• Ordering lien searches, estoppels and surveys
• Reviewing any title issues
• Search records to determine if delinquent taxes are due
• Prepare extensions, addendums, draft seller documents for review by attorney
• Issuance of escrow deposit letters

Skills and Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in processing and clearing title documents for real estate closings in Florida
• Notary Public a plus
• Experience in MS Office Citrix, ShareFile and all major browsers
• Experience using Qualia Title Processing Software a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Fluency in English & Russian a plus
