Dmitry G. Merzon, D.M.D.

Dr. Merzon graduated magna cum laude from Clark University in Worcester, MA where he received his B.A in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. While at Clark, Dr. Merzon was an active member of Clark EMS, a team of volunteer certified emergency medical technicians that responded to all medical emergencies on the university campus. He spent one year doing research at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute prior to attending dental school. Dr. Merzon received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine where he graduated cum laude. Before opening his own practice, Dr. Merzon worked in a private practice in Brookline, MA.

He believes in a comprehensive multi-disciplinary approach to diagnose and prevent dental disease through periodic oral evaluation, patient engagement, and education. Dr. Merzon strives to make dental treatment as comfortable as possible by providing warm and personal attention to every patient. He is a member of the Massachusetts Dental Society and the American Dental Association. For several years Dr. Merzon was on the faculty as a part time clinical instructor at Boston University School of dental medicine, in addition to running his private practice in Arlington. However, in order to accommodate a high demand at the office, he decided to be available to his patients five days a week. His focus is on treating patients in a caring and thorough manner, and in building a trusting relationship that patients can count on for many years to come.

Dr. Merzon believes in continuing education as a cornerstone to a well-rounded, healthy practice. He lives in a Boston area with his wife and son.
