Olga Zalomiy is the founder of the Law Offices of Olga Zalomiy, an independent law firm based in Los Angeles. Licensed to practice law in California, New York, the Russian Federation and the European Court of Human Rights (France) (“ECHR”), Ms. Zalomiy combines twenty three years of high level corporate, government, and independent experience, and thorough understanding of international mechanisms for dispute resolution.

At the Law Offices of Olga Zalomiy, Ms. Zalomiy’s principal transactional focus has been in the arena of domestic and international intellectual property, business, corporate law and alternative dispute resolution issues. She has represented parties in cross-border investment and intellectual property transactions in the United States, Europe and former Soviet countries. Ms. Zalomiy has extensive expertise in commercial litigation and arbitration. She acted as an arbitrator in international domain name disputes and as a counsel in trademark infringement and unfair competition proceedings before U.S. Federal courts. She litigated business and IP disputes in federal and state courts in California, U.S. Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, Russian arbitration (commercial) courts, and the European Court of Human Rights.

Her previous legal experience includes six years of in-house counsel experience with the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, where she worked on projects ranging from legal support for building of the bank’s back-bone network to protection of the bank’s interests in the Supreme Arbitration Court of the Russian Federation. She also advised on cross-border investment transactions for one of the largest firms in southeast Europe and the Middle East.

She is a member of the the ICDR International Panel; the American Arbitration Association Consumer Panel and the ICC Panel. Ms. Zalomiy is a past Chair of the International Law Section of Los Angeles County Bar Association; a past Vice Chair of the Russia/Eurasia Committee of the American Bar Association International law Section, a former member of Executive Committee of the North American Branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

She is educated both as a civil and common law attorney and received her J.D. from the Tomsk State University in Russia, and her L.L.M. from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law.
